Privacy

IndiCATor is a data-analysis tool. We do not run any advertising or tracking, and we do not profile visitors.

• Cookies. We set exactly one cookie, session_id, which is strictly necessary: it lets the app reconstruct the state of your in-progress analysis across steps. It holds a random identifier only, expires after 7 days, and is not used for tracking. Because it is essential to the tool working, no cookie consent banner is required.
• Uploaded data. Files you upload are processed to run the analysis and stored transiently to drive the pipeline; associated session data is deleted automatically after a retention window.
• Error monitoring. We use Sentry to capture errors and performance traces so we can keep the service reliable. These reports can include technical request details such as your IP address. They are used only for diagnostics.
